are happy to welcome back all our MAIS veterans, and a special hello to
all our new MAIS members.
The MAIS Board
Like other
professional organizations and most schools, MAIS is governed by a board
of directors elected from among the heads of our regular member schools.

This coming November the MAIS Annual
Conference will be held in Cairo. As in the past years, we have chosen
a great location to bring our (school staff,
directors, and business managers) for this most informative and
culturally superb conference. You can again register on-line directly
from the MAIS webpage .We have a great hotel rate at the Semiramis
Inter-Continental.

AWARD: Outstanding Contributions to Education
The MAIS Ceremonial
Sword was presented to Dr. Peter Mehas, retiring superintendent of
Fresno County our region to region partner, for his outstanding
contributions to education . Pete will now lead the governor's Education
Task Force. The superintendent elect Larry Powell looks forward to
continuing the partnership.
